Advice for An Amazing Presentation

List out 10 pieces of advice you would give someone on how to create an amazing presentation.
  1. Make good eye contact-don't look at the ground, talk right into the eyes of the people you are speaking to.
  2. Have good volume- Make sure everyone can hear you and what you are talking about.
  3. Don't rush through your information- Slow down and share your information at a good pace so you don't lose your audience.
  4. Be ready to answer any questions- Don't be afraid to answer some questions after your presentation.
  5. Know the material- The better you know the topic the smoother the presentation will go.
  6. Explain the pictures- Many times a picture is there with no caption, you know what it means but your audience does not so make sure to explain it.
  7. Have good posture- Do not slump over a good presenter stands straight up.
  8. Don't just read off the slides- To show you have the knowledge of the topic elaborate more than just what is on the slides.
  9. Be Enthusiastic- If your not enthusiastic about your presentation your audience won't be either, put a little pep in your step.
  10. Be Confident- You worked hard on the presentation and now its time to show it off. Don't be timid instead have confidence and the audience will feed off of you.
