It has been very interesting researching Sweatshops. Sweatshops are work environments that have three major characteristics—long hours, low pay, and unsafe or unhealthy working conditions. I have found they do not exist only in foreign countries but in the United States as well. I was surprised to find some of the most popular companies own and operate sweatshops. Such examples include Apple, Nike, and Walmart.
